GW Character Renaming Service.
a) For those who intend to rename their character(s), please file an application with Live Support containing the following info: account name, current character name, server, new character name (comprising letters or numbers only. Invalid symbols are NOT allowed. Must be different than the current character name), and E-mail address.
b) 3 new names must be provided upon application, in the descending order of your preference. We will do our best to use the first name, but if it has been taken or is otherwise unavailable, one of the other two names will be used instead.
c) A fee of 4,000 gold will be charged via a trade with a GM for each successful use of this service.
d) Characters being renamed must apply successfully and then wait until the first routine maintenance. During the maintenance we will make the switch.
